Let's Get Launched ("we", "us", "our") operates letsgetlaunched.com and this customer portal (the "Service"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights over it. We are based in British Columbia, Canada and comply with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account details: name, business name, email, phone number, password.
- Billing details: processed securely by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Website content: text, images, logos, hours, menu items, and any other material you submit to build or customize your site.
- Support messages: anything you send us by email, form, or chat.
Information we collect automatically
- Basic log data (IP address, browser, pages viewed, timestamps) to run and secure the Service.
- Cookies and local storage used to keep you signed in and remember preferences.
Information from public sources
We build demo websites for local businesses using publicly available information (business name, address, phone, hours, photos, reviews) from sources such as Google Maps, Google Business Profile, and public business directories. If we have built a demo for your business and you do not want it to exist, email us at hello@letsgetlaunched.com and we will take it down.
2. How We Use Information
- To build, host, and customize your website.
- To create and manage your customer account.
- To process payments and send invoices and receipts.
- To send operational emails (site live, domain updates, billing, support replies).
- To reach out to businesses we have built demos for, once, with their demo link.
- To improve and secure the Service and detect abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service, under contractual confidentiality obligations:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Netlify — website and portal hosting
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- NocoDB — database storage
- Twilio / Bland.ai — optional voice and SMS features
- Anthropic (Claude) — AI-assisted content generation
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Let's Get Launched, our users, or the public.
4. Data Retention
We keep your account and website data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel, we keep billing records for seven (7) years as required by Canadian tax law, and we keep your website content for thirty (30) days in case you reactivate, after which it is deleted.
5. Security
We use HTTPS everywhere, hashed passwords, and access controls on our databases. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
6. Your Rights
You can:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your account and data (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Withdraw consent for marketing emails at any time.
- File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

7. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
8. International Users
Our servers and service providers may be located outside Canada (including the United States). By using the Service you consent to your information being transferred and processed in those jurisdictions.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or on the site. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
